Refuge (Sanctuary Series) Mixed Media (A very heavily textured mixture of collage, oil, acrylic, metallics, cold wax) Image Size: 11” x 14” $350 Includes Frame My mixed-media painting, “Refuge,” is an image of a monastery-like retreat high in the Asian mountains, somewhere in Bhutan or Tibet. “Refuge” comes in a custom silvered leaf-patterned frame. This painting is included in my Sanctuary series. This series was generated by a call to escape everyday reality into another realm. Each image represents a different form of transcendence or detachment.
