This was inspired by a moonlit walk on the coast in California. I used 6 different mediums including iridescent oil sticks and mica chips; consequently, the painting has many different effects, depending on the angle and light source. Like most cold wax work, this took many layers and applications. I was striving for an ethereal, dream-like effect.
