Multnomah Falls is a heavily-textured painting evolved over a year’s time (the Covid year) during which I kept adding layers of paper, paint, pastels, pens, wax, probably totaling 25 layers in places. It was a sort of meditation on the endurance of the land, the majesty and transcendence of this stunning waterfall.
